Session planner
Build a custom training session by selecting drills from the full drill library on the home page - then print a ready-to-use plan with whiteboard diagrams and coaching notes.
How it works
Open the drill library on the
home page. Browse or search across 625 drills in 25 skill categories.
Click the bookmark icon on any drill card to add it to your session. The icon fills in green and a session counter appears in the bottom-right corner of the screen showing how many drills you have selected.
Keep selecting drills across any skill category. You can filter by skill using the category chips at the top, or search by name. Your selections are kept while you browse.
Click the session counter in the bottom-right to open the session panel. It shows all your selected drills in order, with the total estimated training time.
Give your session a name (e.g. "Tuesday - passing & movement") and click Print session. A print-ready page opens with each drill's whiteboard diagram, coaching description, age group, duration and number of players.
🔍 Search & filter
Use the search bar to find drills by name or keyword. Use the skill chips (Dribbling, Passing, Shooting...) to browse by category. Both work together so you can e.g. search "pressure" inside the Defending category.
📋 Session counter
A floating green badge in the bottom-right corner shows how many drills are in your current session. Click it to open the session panel at any time without losing your place in the drill list.
⏳ Total time
The session panel adds up the duration of all your selected drills and shows a total estimated session time - useful for making sure your plan fits within your available training slot.
🖶 Print plan
The printed session plan includes the session title, total time and for every drill: the whiteboard pitch diagram, full coaching description, age range, duration and number of players needed. Ready to hand to an assistant coach or pin up in the changing room.
✕ Clear session
The session panel has a Clear button that removes all selected drills so you can start building a fresh plan. Individual drills can also be removed by clicking their bookmark icon again to deselect them.
👁️ Drill preview
Every drill card has a preview button showing the full whiteboard diagram, coaching tips and setup instructions before you decide to add it to your session.
Tip: Build one session plan per training week. A typical 75-minute youth session fits 4 to 6 drills - start with a warm-up drill, build through technical and tactical work, and finish with a small-sided game or cool-down.
🚀
Getting started
The recommended order when you first log in as a coach.

Add your fixtures on the Matches page. Enter opponent, date, kickoff time, home or away and optionally the address for away games.
Generate your training schedule on the Schedule page. Pick your recurring days and times and a date range - the app creates all sessions in one go.
Take attendance on the Training page after each session. Tick who was present and attach the drills you used.
Share the parent link from the Schedule page so parents can see upcoming matches and training without needing an account.
Tip: The Dashboard gives you a live overview every time you log in - next match, attendance alerts and top scorer.

Pick the date (defaults to today), choose a category and write your note.
Optionally click a star rating from 1 (needs work) to 5 (excellent) to score this session or milestone.
Click Save note. The entry appears immediately in the timeline below.
Categories

Set a From and To date covering your season or the next period.
Optionally add a title for the sessions (e.g. "Team training").
Click Generate sessions. The app creates one session per matching day across the period, skipping dates that already have a session.
Note: If training days change mid-season, run the generator again for the remaining period. Existing sessions are never overwritten.
Calendar subscription (iCal)
The Schedule page gives you a private iCal feed URL. Subscribe to it in any calendar app:
- Google Calendar: Other calendars → From URL
- iPhone: Settings → Calendar → Accounts → Add Account → Other → Add Subscribed Calendar
- Outlook: Add calendar → From internet
The feed stays in sync automatically - new matches and sessions appear in your calendar without any extra steps.
Parent schedule link
A separate read-only page shows parents all upcoming matches and training. No login needed, nothing can be edited. Share it in your team chat. It shows match locations as Google Maps links and the selected squad from the lineup if one exists for that match.
Tip: Both the iCal link and the parent link are private - anyone who has them can see your schedule and player names, so do not post them publicly.
